Anna is in her final year of her MChem at the University of St Andrews. She spent her 4th year on an industrial placement with Diamond Light Source, investigating the production of amorphous silicates via a sol-gel method. She is now undertaking her final year project with the Ashbrook group, researching the synthesis, 17O enrichment and disorder in La2SnxHf2–xO7 ceramics using NMR crystallography.
