Arantxa completed her Masters degree in analytical chemistry at the University of Pune, India in 2013. She has now moved to St. Andrews to continue with her research career as a PhD student under the supervision of Professor Sharon Ashbrook. Her area of research is exploiting 17O NMR of inorganic solids

Apart from research, she loves drawing and painting. She also has an interest in travelling to and exploring new places and enjoys listening to slow music.
