Chris is a 5th year MCHem undergraduate originally from Nairn in the Scottish Highlands and has joined the group for his final year project. He is investigating the feasibility of solid-state NMR of Gallium, particularly with application to microporous materials. Chris’s interest in NMR developed from the 3rd year mini-project and undertook an NMR-based project last year with Dr Tomas Lebl.

Chris has a range of interests, from playing rugby and weightlifting (Olympic style) to computer games and foreign culture.
