Martin Micklethwaite is a 4th year student at the University of St Andrews, studying Chemistry with Medicinal Chemistry. He is currently working on a project investigating novel and practical syntheses of isotopically enriched metal-organic framework linkers under the supervision of Dr Iain Smellie, in collaboration with the Ashbrook group.

Outside of Chemistry, Martin enjoys gaming, travelling and (in warmer waters than St Andrews has to offer) scuba diving.
